Art October Project

We all know kids love to stuff their pockets with neat things. Now, with our new How to Make Books with Pockets Series, they'll have a book they created themselves, with plenty of pockets to stuff with all sorts of neat "discoveries." Each volume contains complete instructions and materials to make three different books with pockets, based on a topic pertinent to the month, and utilizing items and information you have readily available. Federal Art Project - The Federal Art Project (FAP) was the visual arts arm of the Great Depression-era New Deal WPA Federal One program in the United States. Reputed to have created more than 200,000 separate works, FAP artists created posters, murals and paintings—some of which stand among the most significant pieces of public art in the country.

October Project - October Project is an adult-alternative pop/rock band. The original group members from 1993 through 1996, the Epic Records years, were Mary Fahl (lead vocals), Marina Belica (vocals, keyboards), David Sabatino (vocals, guitars), and husband-and-wife Emil Adler (vocals, keyboards, melodies) and Julie Flanders (lyrics).

Public Works of Art Project - The Public Works of Art Project was an program to employ artists, as part of the New Deal, during the Great Depression. It was the first such program, running from December 1933 to June 1934.

Coast Art Project - COAST is an ambitious British visual arts project initiated by the Essex County Council. Starting in 2003 and continuing over three years, the project will generate a series of newly commissioned artworks along the Essex coastline.
